Broadwing, AireSpring enter resale agreement

August 1, 2005 Austin, TX -- Broadwing Communications and AireSpring announced that they have entered into an agreement under which AirSpring's national group of sales agents is reselling communications services supported by Broadwing's nationwide all-optical network. AireSpring is now offering Broadwing-supported local connectivity, long-distance, dedicated Internet access and private line services to its nationwide corporate and residential customers.

"We're thrilled with the quality of Broadwing's network, its people and its operations. We're excited to work with a communications provider that makes it so easy to do business with them," remarks Daniel Lonstein, senior vice president of marketing at AireSpring. "Broadwing's service enables us to more easily manage our customer base, upsell existing customers with new services, and streamline our operations."

"Resale relationships with companies like AireSpring are valuable adjuncts to Broadwing's direct sales force, providing another avenue for increasing revenues," adds Scott Widham, president of sales and marketing for Broadwing. "Broadwing will leverage AireSpring's highly knowledgeable agent sales team to help expand our reach to an even larger customer base."

Broadwing says its wholesale program is designed to make doing business with the company easy for resellers. The company says it offers resellers access to its full suite of voice and data services, as well as to a variety of Web-based tools that allow resellers to easily manage their customers.
