September 14, 2005 Omaha, NE -- Adesta, an Omaha-based systems integrator, has been awarded a contract by Revere Consulting to engineer, permit, procure, and install a fiber backbone and drops to over 585 sites for the Sierra Ridge development in Country Club Hills, Illinois.
The 450-acre gated development, owned by Gatling Properties, is located in the southern Chicago suburb of Country Club Hills. The development's 585 units are to include 477 town homes, 30 estate homes, 48 single family homes, 110 unit senior living facilities, and 24 commercial buildings. The site currently contains a Loews Cineplex Theater, with other proposed developments to include three hotels, a major standalone retail store and grocery center, a performing arts center, a water park, an office complex, restaurants, and other amenities. The development will also contain an "executive" nine-hole golf course.
The development's communications backbone will connect to a data center housing multiple providers of telecommunications services.
