September 15, 2005 Minneapolis, MN -- Power & Telephone Supply Co. (Power & Tel) announced that it has entered into a strategic distribution agreement to lead with ADC's OmniReach platforms as the premium FTTX offering for Power & Tel customers.

The OmniReach FTTX portfolio includes: wavelength division multiplexers, fiber distribution terminals, and fiber access terminals, including the recently introduced OmniReach Multi-Fiber Service Terminal (MST).

"With FTTX becoming an ever-increasing need for service providers, we needed to choose a solution platform we could trust. ADC is not only a strategic partner that we value, but they are also a market leader in FTTX solutions," says Jim Drain, vice president of the telephone group for Power & Tel. "We are very pleased to lead with the OmniReach line as the complete connectivity solution for the FTTX networks of our customers."

"Power & Tel understands that OmniReach solutions are an ideal choice for FTTX networks in carrier and municipality fiber network initiatives," adds Tom Kampf, director of product management of FTTX Solutions for ADC. "Our fiber distribution terminals and supporting FTTX equipment are designed to meet the many unique requirements of FTTX networks. As customers design and build their FTTX networks, they can quickly and efficiently make their FTTX plans a reality."
