September 15, 2005 San Jose, CA, and Besançon, France -- Nozomi Photonics, a supplier of high-speed optical switches, and Photline Technologies, a provider of modulation platforms for high data rate optical transmission networks, have announced a distribution agreement under which Photline will distribute Nozomi's optical switches portfolio in Europe.

"Nozomi is very excited to partner with a provider of high-speed optical solutions such as Photline," comments Jerome Prieur, director of sales and marketing for Nozomi. "European systems vendors will benefit from enhanced access to the Nozomi's high-speed optical switches, as well as professional local customer support from Photline, which truly understands high-speed electro-optic technologies."
