JULY 11, 2007 -- euNetworks, (search for euNetworks), owner and operator of one of Europe's highest capacity fiber networks and provider of mission critical infrastructure and services, has concluded an agreement with German Internet service provider Aixit GmbH.
Per the five-year agreement, euNetworks says it will deploy a fully redundant private fiber network over which Aixit will provide a range of ISP and broadband services to its expanding customer base in Germany.
Aixit, one of Germany's fastest growing ISPs, says it required a highly available and scalable network, connecting Frankfurt's financial center to a redundant datacenter in the west of the city. euNetworks deployed its priva|nex, a high-availability and redundantly connected private fiber network, providing Aixit with a secure platform over which to deliver mission critical communications for its customers in the financial sector.
