Extreme Networks and Chinese IT group Legend partner for integrated networked solutions
4 August 2003 London, Beijing Lightwave Europe -- Extreme Networks is partnering with China's leading IT company, Legend Group to double its presence in China. The pair say they will provide enterprise customers with co-branded high performance networking systems with the industry's "lowest total cost of ownership".
Indosat expands network with Siemens and Pirelli
1 August 2003 Munich and Rome Lightwave -- The Indonesian telecommunications company Indosat has commissioned Pirelli and Siemens as a consortium to deliver a turnkey high-speed optical fiber network. The three subnetworks in East Java, Jakarta-Bandung, and Sumatra will cover a total of more than 1376 km.

France Telecom selected by NTL for major IP transit deal

Infineon reports improved third quarter results for 2003
25 July 2003 Munich Lightwave Europe -- Infineon Technologies AG (FSE/NYSE: IFX) has announced results for its Q3 and first nine months of 2003, ended 30 June. The company had revenues from continuing operations of EUR 1.47 billion, remaining almost flat sequentially and increasing 11 percent year-on-year.
