MRV unveils high-density, 4.25-Gbit/sec media cross-connect
March 10, 2005 Chatsworth, CA -- MRV Communications, a provider of scalable network infrastructure equipment, has added to its line of physical layer cross-connect switches by introducing its 288-port Media Cross-Connect (NC316-288PMC-4). Along with the device, the company also introduced its proprietary network management card, based on the Linux operating system, which enables the device's secure access and management capabilities.
