Vitesse demonstrates 400-mW Gigabit Ethernet PHY May 1, 2006 Las Vegas, NV -- At the Interop 2006 show, Vitesse Semiconductor announced that it has successfully demonstrated a 400mW integrated Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) PHY that the company says lowers power consumption by up to 50% compared to previous devices. Tested over full 100 m cable lengths with continuous traffic, the company says its prototype "super low power" GbE PHY will become the foundation for future products in its SimpliPHY and SparX families.

ADC KRONE intros fiber cable management system April 27, 2006 Minneapolis, MN -- ADC KRONE, the EMEA affiliate of ADC, has announced the availability in EMEA of its RiserGuide cable management system, part of the company's FiberGuide product family.
