Aragon enhances BOSA offering June 20, 2006 Zaragoza, Spain -- Aragon Photonics Labs S.L., developer and manufacturer of all-optical, high-resolution measurement instruments, has implemented new software functionalities in its BOSA high-resolution optical spectrum analyzer (OSA). The new software includes a Macro Editor Tool to enable the user to automate his/her own measurements and applications that take advantage of BOSA real-time measurements.
Digital Lightwave intros jitter and wander testing at PDH rates July 5, 2006 Clearwater, FL -- Digital Lightwave has announced the availability of network information compute (NIC) products equipped with Jitter and Wander test capability on PDH and T-Carrier interfaces. The NIC Plus and NIC EP now support jitter and wander testing at 1.5-, 2-, 34-, 45-, and 139 Mbits/sec in addition to SONET, SDH, and OTN rates. The first instruments with this capability already have been shipped to international customers, reports the company.
