Ericsson supplies FTTx network equipment for seven digital cities in Greece
DECEMBER 10, 2007 -- Per the agreements, Ericsson will supply and install fiber-optic telecommunications networks in the municipalities of Agrinio, Chania, Ermoupolis, Ierapetra, Iraklio, Kozani, and Rethymno. The networks initially will link municipal buildings, such as the general hospital, town hall, schools, and universities.

Reggefiber builds FTTH network in the Netherlands with Cisco technology
DECEMBER 10, 2007 -- Reggefiber will deploy Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series Switches as the E-FTTH access platform at its new optical points of presence (PoPs) and a 10-Gigabit Ethernet core network to make optimum use of the increased capacity provided by Cisco 7600 Series Routers.
