Discovery Semiconductors, Inc.
Since 1993, Discovery Semiconductors has been an industry leader in manufacturing ultrafast, high optical power handling, InGaAs photodetectors, radio frequency over fiber optical receivers, balanced optical receivers and several other custom products for applications ranging from analog RF links to ultrafast digital communications. Our products have a usable spectral wavelength range of 800-1650 nm. This allows one device to be used for multiple wavelengths, thus reducing operational and inventory cost. Our products also offer improved sensitivity by canceling the DC portion of RIN and ASE noise, and improved reliability for high optical power handling. Discovery's instrumentation includes Lab Buddy, their Versatile O/E converter which can incorporate any of their Optical Receivers, and Kitty Hawk, their Optical Coherent Receiver System.

They have experience with space and high reliability military projects, and their customers include Fortune 500 telecom and aerospace companies, defense organizations, universities and emerging communication companies.
